Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) / Med-Surg position in Brighton, CO, requiring 1 year of IMC or Med-Surg experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Located on a Med-Surg / Intermediate Care (IMC) unit in a hospital setting in Brighton, CO
• 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need within scope of competency
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of IMC or Med-Surg RN experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — must not expire prior to start date
• TNCC preferred
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (ASN minimum; BSN preferred)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• English proficiency (read, write, speak) required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as health teaching, counseling, and executing delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, refers patients as needed, and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Two references are required for consideration
