Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient experience and Epic proficiency for a split outpatient/acute care rehab role in Iowa.
Details
- Primarily outpatient clinic-based setting, with 4 days per week in outpatient and 1 day per week in acute care
- Acute care caseload focuses on ortho/neuro patients and safety discharge evaluations
- Optional opportunity to cover 1-2 acute care weekend shifts during the contract (Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM on-call)
- Epic EMR required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; work history must reflect 24 months of PT experience
- Outpatient PT experience required; inpatient experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active Iowa PT license required; candidates not yet licensed in Iowa will be considered if willing to apply
- Active AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- At least one completed travel contract preferred
Additional Information
- License required if applicable
- Supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred
- Travelers who previously worked at this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
- Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Time off requests during the holiday window (late November through early January) are limited to 1 day per holiday period
