Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a Critical Access Hospital, with potential ER float coverage and charge nurse responsibilities on night shifts.

Details

• Work in a Med/Surg unit at a 26-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• May float to the ER as needed, based on experience
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact state currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidate will primarily work on the Med/Surg floor with occasional ER support based on individual experience
• Charge nurse experience is preferred, as the role may include charge nurse responsibilities on some night shifts
• The facility is a busy 26-bed Critical Access Hospital with an active ER
