Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Weston, FL, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Floating within scope required as needed to meet facility needs
• Weekend availability required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is not available
• EMR: Epic — experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 required

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Certifications required at time of consideration: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to assignment start
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 required
• Two professional references required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required
• Must be nicotine-free — a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) test is required

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO requests added after submission will likely not be approved
• This is a smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
• Time-sensitive Epic onboarding modules must be prioritized promptly once the assignment is confirmed — do not delay completing them
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
