Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for an OR-focused position requiring C-arm and O-arm proficiency in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting.

Details

Inpatient and outpatient hospital setting with OR, Level I Trauma, and teaching hospital environment
C-arm and O-arm coverage in the Operating Room, along with X-ray procedures for surgical interventions
4x10 hour shifts on 2nd shift, starting at either 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM
On-call responsibilities are associated with this position

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
Valid ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
Current BLS certification
Proficiency in operating C-arm and O-arm systems
Experience with surgical/C-arm X-ray procedures
State license required if applicable

Additional Information

Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to support optimal patient care during OR procedures
Responsible for maintaining equipment functionality and adhering to radiation safety protocols
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of consideration
Previous employees of this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
