Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring ACLS certification and proficiency with critical drips on a night shift schedule.

Details

• 42-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics
• May care for IMCU patients based on census needs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Schedule is 4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends and holidays are included in the schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to units of like acuity or less is required as needed

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPI certification required (may be obtained prior to start)
• Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Multidisciplinary team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs, unit secretaries, and charge staff
• Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application to be honored
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
