Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele (Step Down) position requiring at least 2 years of step down experience and active IA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Step down / Med-Surg Tele hospital unit setting
• May float to the Emergency Department (ED)
• Up to 48 hours per week available

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required; if IL license is held, an active IA license is also required (or proof of application for IA single-state or compact license)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of step down experience required
• Epic EMR experience
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel pay rates

Additional Information

• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Travelers must be willing to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week (11/26–11/30) and the winter holiday period (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
• Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
