Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, working a Monday–Thursday full-day, Friday half-day schedule with 1:1 patient ratios and a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting, not located on a hospital campus
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (4.5-day work week)
• 1:1 patient ratio with 45-minute sessions
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday coverage required
• No floating to other units or sister facilities required
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active South Carolina PT license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must be fully licensed prior to start
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Completion modules are required prior to the assignment start date
• Charcoal gray scrubs are required
• First-time travelers are accepted depending on the specific position
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
