Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week outpatient orthopedic assignment in Wisconsin.

• Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, with hours ranging from 6:30am to 5:00pm

Requirements

• Professional degree in physical therapy required; Doctorate preferred
• Minimum 1 year of related physical therapy experience required
• Active Wisconsin physical therapy license required
• BLS certification preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include treating patients with movement dysfunction or pain to improve daily task performance, reduce fall and DVT risk, support post-surgical recovery, and assist with discharge planning
• Documentation duties include evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, daily notes, insurance approvals/denials, and relevant phone communications
• Role involves coordination with other providers, insurance companies, patients, and rehab staff
• General upkeep of treatment rooms, including cleaning and laundry assistance, is part of the role
• License required if applicable
