Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications with a minimum of 3 years of L&D experience.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Typically scheduled 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, though this may vary
On-call, floating, and holiday coverage may be required as needed
Epic EMR experience required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required; 5+ years preferred
Epic EMR proficiency required

Additional Information

Scrubs are provided
Candidates residing within 90 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
Holiday coverage may be required

Easy case load, hardly any traumas. Most cases out by 3-4.

Cons

Took a while for people to trust you. Some still don’t and I doubt they ever will. Only one permanent staffer for days.
