Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience and an active WA license for a 13-week assignment at a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center.
Details
- Inpatient OT position at a 104-bed Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Expected caseload of 8–10 patients per day
- Weekend rotation required every 4 weeks with compensatory days off
- Position floats between units and potentially between facilities within the state
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active Washington State OT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Inpatient rehab experience is a plus but not required
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Self-motivated, independent work ethic is strongly preferred
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- RTO is expected to be minimal; significant time-off requests may impact consideration
