Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience and an active WA license for a 13-week assignment at a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center.

Details

  • Inpatient OT position at a 104-bed Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
  • Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Expected caseload of 8–10 patients per day
  • Weekend rotation required every 4 weeks with compensatory days off
  • Position floats between units and potentially between facilities within the state
  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • No parking fee

Requirements

  • Active Washington State OT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
  • Acute care experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Inpatient rehab experience is a plus but not required
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Self-motivated, independent work ethic is strongly preferred
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
  • Scrubs of any color are accepted
  • RTO is expected to be minimal; significant time-off requests may impact consideration
