Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in North Carolina, requiring at least one year of nursing experience and active RN licensure.
Details
- Hospital Med/Surg unit setting
- Patient population includes those with complex medical and psychosocial needs requiring coordinated interdisciplinary care
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
- English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care
- Participates in patient and family education, discharge planning, and continuity of care communication
- Two professional references required for consideration
