Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Surgical Unit position in Oregon, requiring 3+ years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

Work in the Surgical Unit of a hospital Medical/Surgical department
Adult patient population requiring pre- and post-surgical nursing care
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Travelers may be floated to other departments where qualified

Requirements

Active Oregon RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
BSN or MSN preferred
Certified Medical-Surgical RN (CMSRN) preferred

Additional Information

Provide direct, individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and condition assessments
Responsible for initiating and maintaining computerized Plan of Care on patient admission
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
CRASE training preferred; required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months
International candidates are not eligible for this position
