Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in the Chicago, IL area, requiring a valid IL RN license and at least 1 year of IR/cath lab experience.

Details

Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
On-call required 2–3 times per week for emergency cases, including rotating nights and weekends
11-week travel assignment
Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology unit setting

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of IR and/or cath lab experience required
Basic critical care experience required (ER or ICU background)
DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource
DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides nursing care for interventional radiology procedures, including emergency on-call cases
