Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced High-Risk L&D RN for a travel contract in San Francisco, CA, requiring Epic proficiency and a valid CA RN license.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in an acute hospital setting
- High-risk obstetric patient population
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum 2 years of OB/Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- On-site EKG test required with a minimum passing score of 80%
- 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions
- Develops and implements individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
- Maintains collaborative relationships between patients, family/support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Previous employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
