Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 426 staffed beds, part of a large academic health system
- Nuclear Medicine department focused on routine PET/CT exams for oncology patients
- Uses Siemens Biograph PET/CT scanner
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification required (not both)
- Proficiency with Siemens Biograph PET/CT equipment
- Experience with routine PET/CT oncology imaging
- Current BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions considered
Additional Information
- Perform routine PET/CT exams primarily for oncology patients
- Level II Trauma Center environment
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; local pay rate may apply
- Candidates living more than 75 miles from the facility may qualify for travel pay rates
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
