Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting with 426 staffed beds, part of a large academic health system
  • Nuclear Medicine department focused on routine PET/CT exams for oncology patients
  • Uses Siemens Biograph PET/CT scanner
  • Charting via Epic EMR
  • Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Free parking available on-site

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
  • NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification required (not both)
  • Proficiency with Siemens Biograph PET/CT equipment
  • Experience with routine PET/CT oncology imaging
  • Current BLS required
  • State license required if applicable
  • Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
  • COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions considered

Additional Information

  • Perform routine PET/CT exams primarily for oncology patients
  • Level II Trauma Center environment
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply; local pay rate may apply
  • Candidates living more than 75 miles from the facility may qualify for travel pay rates
  • Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
