Description
American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1-3 years of IR experience for a 14-week travel contract in Kentucky.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US guided interventions
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off each week (typically following a call shift)
- 1-2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend on-call every 6 weeks
- Preferred experience with Epic EMR, Siemens single and bi-plane equipment, and McKesson PACS
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology with demonstrated skill in VIR and neuro procedures
- ARRT(R) and BLS required
- RT(R) or RT(R)(VI) certification required
- KY Radiation Operator's License required prior to start (license required if applicable)
- Proficiency in scrubbing as first assist to physician, circulating, filming, and charging exams in Epic
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assist physicians with interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US guided procedures
- Former permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
