Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient clinic serving patients from birth to age 21, with a focus on CP, Autism, and developmental conditions.
Details
- Outpatient pediatric therapy clinic setting
- Patients served range from birth to 21 years of age
- Primary diagnoses include Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and genetic/developmental conditions
- Expected caseload of 25 billed hours per week, with scheduling at 29–30 hours to account for cancellations
- Approximately 1–2 evaluations per week in addition to ongoing treatment sessions
- Sessions are primarily 1:1, with occasional co-treats as clinically appropriate
- Cerner used for documentation
- Monday through Thursday schedule, no weekends
- No on-call or floating requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Maryland OT license required — license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric OT experience
- Current BLS certification

- Clinic includes a Seating and Positioning Clinic, Assistive Technology Clinic, and a Feeding Program
- Therapy team consists of one OT, one PT, and one SLP, supported by a part-time rehab tech
- Clinic is well-equipped with therapy equipment to support a variety of treatment needs
- Orientation and training are provided
- Comfortable attire required — scrubs recommended; jeans and open-toed shoes are not permitted
- Free on-site garage parking is available
- No holiday coverage required
- All time-off and scheduling requests should be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
