Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of MRI experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting in a dedicated MRI unit
- Rotating shift schedule of 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, and 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, Monday–Friday with rotating days off Wednesday–Friday
- Call week runs Wednesday through Wednesday (end call 6:30 AM) with a 12-hour shift on Wednesday, 8-hour shift Thursday (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), 12-hour shift Friday, and 8-hour shift Saturday (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
- Weekend call rotates among staff on a weekly basis
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- Current BLS and ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Active LA license required if applicable
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
