Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IR PACU position requiring IR PACU experience with phase 1 recovery, ICU experience, and pediatric patient care competency.
Details
- Interventional Radiology (IR) PACU position within a hospital setting
- Phase 1 recovery care is a core component of this role
- Must have experience caring for pediatric patients
- Schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts per week with rotating start times of 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM depending on unit needs
- 3–4 late stays required per every 6-week period
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license in good standing — no licensure hits will be accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS (PALS must be obtained prior to start if not currently held)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- IR PACU experience with phase 1 recovery required
- Experience caring for pediatric patients required
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
