Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 4x10 day shift contract at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 356-bed non-profit academic medical center and tertiary care facility affiliated with a medical school
- Inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU patient populations
- Procedures include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripheral and vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic studies, upper/lower extremity studies, biopsies, and drainages
- Equipment used includes PACS, C-arm, contrast injector systems (ACIST preferred), pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Call is assigned an average of 10 days per month, including at least one weekend
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience
- Current BLS and ARRT certification
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings required
- Proficiency with PACS, C-arm, contrast administration, and biopsies required
- Experience deploying pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
