Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a valid CA RN license, Cerner experience, and a minimum of 2 years of L&D specialty experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7pm–7:30am (3x12-hour shifts)
• Sunday through Saturday availability required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required, with at least 1 year of full-time equivalent L&D experience within the past 2 years
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must provide at least one supervisory/director/manager reference from the past year on the relevant unit; a second reference from within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator is acceptable)
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• No RTO requests will be honored within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be changed once submitted
• Candidates who have previously been employed by this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler, and may require facility approval prior to assignment
• A pass/fail EKG exam is required (up to 3 attempts permitted)
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling is available
