Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring strong neuro skills and Epic proficiency.
Details
- 13-week travel contract in a Neuro ICU at a 356-bed non-profit academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis, MO
- Neurological ICU patient population requiring critical care expertise
- Schedule options of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts available; primary shift is nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to ICU, TCU/PCU, and all hospital care areas within scope, including the ED for admitted ICU and TCU/PCU holds
- Epic EMR — experience required
- On-site parking garage available at no cost
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Strong neuro nursing skills required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional references from a direct supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, serving as a tertiary care academic teaching hospital
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Navy blue scrubs required
