Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department position at an academic/teaching facility in St. Louis, Missouri, requiring at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in a 42-bed Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center within an academic/teaching medical center
- High-volume department seeing approximately 130 patients per day, with 5 dedicated trauma rooms
- Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7p-7a (3x12-hour block)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating is not required
- Block schedule may be accommodated at manager discretion
- Epic EMR experience is required
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
- Experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

- Facility is a non-profit, research-based academic medical center affiliated with a medical school, providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Pending MO or compact RN license will be accepted
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; any RTO requested after signing is subject to manager approval
