Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department position at an academic/teaching facility in St. Louis, Missouri, requiring at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in a 42-bed Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center within an academic/teaching medical center
• High-volume department seeing approximately 130 patients per day, with 5 dedicated trauma rooms
• Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7p-7a (3x12-hour block)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating is not required
• Block schedule may be accommodated at manager discretion
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
• Experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
