Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/SNF night shift position in Minnesota, requiring an active MN RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Post-acute care setting in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF)
- 43-bed, 2-story facility with varying patient ratios
- Patient population is primarily dementia residents
- Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Primarily 8-hour shifts with flexibility for 12-hour shifts
- Schedule alternates 44 hours one week and 36 hours the next (80 hours per pay period)
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- No on-call or call-back requirements
- EMR: MatrixCare/Matrix with paper flowsheets
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MN RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- LTC/SNF experience strongly recommended given patient population
- MatrixCare/Matrix EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care primarily to dementia patients in a skilled nursing environment
- Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are subject to local pay rates
- First-time travelers are encouraged to review shift and scheduling expectations before applying
