Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and dual competency in diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- 13-week travel contract with 36 hours per week
- Schedule includes Wednesday through Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with flexibility to cover night shifts (Thursday/Friday/Saturday 8:00 PM–8:00 AM) beginning mid-to-late May
- Performs radiographic procedures using both fixed and mobile equipment in hospital settings including the ER and Main Diagnostic
- Dual competency in diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a U.S. acute care hospital setting required
- Associate's Degree or equivalent, with completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT licensure required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
- Current state Radiation Quality Standards and RT registration required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Performs radiographic procedures under the direction of a supervisor, manager, or Radiologist in ER and Main Diagnostic settings
- Works within a collaborative team of radiological technologists and hospital staff focused on patient service and image quality
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months; at least one reference should be from the most recent employer
- All certifications must be AHA-issued
- CPI is mandated for this position
- Prior employees of the facility may not be eligible — please confirm with your recruiter
