Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington state, working a 7-on/7-off block schedule of 10-hour day shifts.
Details
- Level III Trauma Center, short-term acute care hospital setting with 104 staffed beds
- PT Acute Care Hospital unit with floating between facilities within the state
- Patient load of 10–12 patients per day
- Block schedule: 7 consecutive 10-hour day shifts on, followed by 7 days off
- Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekends required
- No on-call required
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active Washington State Physical Therapist license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience in an acute care setting
- Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; any RTO or scheduling requests should be addressed prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
