Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Resource Pool Med/Surg Tele position in Des Moines, IA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a willingness to float across multiple med/surg units.
Details
- Resource Pool position within a hospital setting, floating across multiple med/surg floors
- Float units include Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele
- May be required to float to a secondary campus approximately 9.5 miles from the primary location
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license valid in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) required
- NIHSS certification required
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must be willing and able to float to all assigned med/surg floors as needed
- Local candidates are eligible to apply; local pay rates are available for this Iowa position
