Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Subintensive Medical/Telemetry Unit (days) in Northport, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active AL or compact RN license.
Details
- Subintensive Medical Unit (Med/Surg Telemetry) in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week travel contract
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
- No hits (past or current) on nursing license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Required documents for consideration: current drivers license, license verification via Nursys, skills checklist, and 2 professional references from within the last year
Additional Information
- Meditech EMR is used; prior experience is preferred but not required
- No pre-start HealthStream modules required — competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
- A Cardiac Exam is required after offer acceptance
- Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rates with no radius restrictions
