Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position in Lake Geneva, WI, requiring active WI or compact RN licensure and multiple trauma certifications.

Hospital emergency room setting in Lake Geneva, WI
Day shift schedule with rotating weekends
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
Prior emergency room nursing experience required
RN education verification required

Additional Information

Deliver nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation using the nursing process in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
Develops and executes individualized patient care plans per physician orders and clinic policy, including patient and family education
Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance and peer review
Applies critical thinking to patient safety concerns and escalates appropriately through the chain of command
