Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of RN experience and a valid TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Schedule may include 36/48 alternating weeks or straight 48s
• Patient ratios up to 6:1
• Floating to other Med/Surg/Tele units as assigned
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid marijuana and CBD products throughout the duration of the assignment to prevent a positive drug screen result
