Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and strong peripheral and neuro interventional skills for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a rotating day off
• On-call requirement of every 3rd weekend plus approximately 1 weekday per week (approximately 8 days/month)
• On-call response time of 30 minutes is strictly enforced
• Emergent on-call procedures include neuro interventional (stroke), PE thrombectomy/lysis, and trauma bleed embolization

Requirements

• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ARRT Interventional Technologist certification required
• Thorough knowledge and experience with C-arm and sterile procedural technique in peripheral cases
• Neuro interventional experience highly preferred
• License required if applicable — must be active at time of consideration
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 100+ miles from the facility's service area to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform peripheral vascular interventions as well as emergent procedures including neuro interventional (stroke), PE thrombectomy/lysis, and trauma bleed embolization
• Orientation begins on Mondays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• AHA-issued certifications are required; other issuing bodies are not accepted
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position due to the emergent on-call scope and strict response requirements
