Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract requiring a South Carolina or Multistate Compact PT license.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit at a 100-bed hospital
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:30pm (negotiable), with one weekend required per month
• 13-week contract
• No on-call required
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Charting in Epic
• Free parking on-site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active South Carolina or Multistate Compact PT license required at the start of the contract; candidates with a pending license may be considered
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Dark grey scrubs required
• Completion of online modules required prior to start date
• First-time travelers are accepted provided they have prior inpatient PT experience
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at this facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are accepted on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Candidates and travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak hurricane months are August and September
