Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license in hand.

• Hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Travel experience is not accepted in lieu of permanent MS/Tele experience — the 18-month requirement must be from permanent employment
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for consideration (Charge RN references accepted)
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Hours are tracked and submitted through Qualivis – Lotus
• Travelers are eligible for assignments at this health system for a maximum of 18 consecutive months, after which a minimum 6-month break is required before returning
