Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient Sports Medicine position on Nantucket Island, requiring a MA PT license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient Sports Medicine setting at a community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+ residents, with up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, with shifts starting between 8:00–8:30 AM
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA Physical Therapist license required; conditional licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross also accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are permitted
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
- This position is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
