Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical position in Oregon, requiring 3+ years of experience along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in a Surgical/Medical-Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Adult patient population requiring pre- and post-surgical care
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on qualifications
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
• BSN or MSN preferred
• CMSRN certification preferred
• Prior Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, initiating computerized Plans of Care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• CRASE training is preferred; will be required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months
• International candidates are not eligible for this position
• This position does not support housing expenses
