Description
American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract in a two-room outpatient vascular lab setting, requiring RVT or RVS certification and experience in vascular ultrasound studies.
Details
- Outpatient vascular lab with two procedure rooms equipped with GE E10 ultrasound units, Parks PVR units, and treadmills
- Procedures include vascular ultrasound, abdominal vasculature, aorta, and renal artery exams
- 1:1 clinician-to-patient ratio
- Diverse patient population
- EMR: Epic; imaging system: Visage PACS
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (32 hours/week)
- Shared on-call until 8:00 PM on scheduled days
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience required
- RVT or RVS certification required
- Proficiency in vascular ultrasound, abdominal vasculature, aortic, and renal artery exams
- AHA-issued certifications required
- Active MA license required; conditional or pending MA licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

- Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
- Local candidates are eligible if their permanent residence is within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
- Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public transportation and paid public parking are available (approximately $17–$22/day)
