Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Neuro Unit Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and active GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work setting is an acute neuro unit within a hospital environment
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule varies
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or neuro specialty experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is accepted
- 13-week contract
