Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at an acute care hospital using Epic EMR.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology department with 5 imaging rooms
• Imaging studies include X-ray, OR C-arm, and fluoroscopy
• Average of 400 scans/studies per day
• Equipment includes Toshiba rad rooms, Carestream portable units, and OEC C-arms
• PACS system: Fuji Synapse; EMR: Epic
• Residents radiologists are in-house 24/7
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• No floating to other areas within the department
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• WV State License required if applicable
• Proficiency with C-arm and fluoroscopy procedures required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR C-arm procedures
• Department-specific orientation is provided
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidate must provide their own radiation dosimetry badge — the facility will not provide one
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before applying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year; after reaching that mark, a 2-year break is required
• All interviews are conducted directly with the hiring manager
