Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for an acute care hospital setting, with coverage across diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, and OR.

Details

Acute care hospital radiology department
Covers all aspects of diagnostic radiology including fluoroscopy and OR procedures
Primary shift is 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with Thursdays off; rotating weekend shift is 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required
Possible varying shifts including days, evenings, and overnights depending on staffing needs
Charting system: MEDITECH
13-week assignment

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
Current BLS certification required
ARRT certification required
License required if applicable
Proficiency in diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging
Acute care setting experience required

Additional Information

Orientation is held on Mondays
A 30-minute lunch break is required per facility policy
Overtime may be required depending on staffing needs
Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced travel pay rate
