Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/Interventional position in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and an active Hawaii RN license.

Details

• Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular unit in a hospital setting
• Procedures include IR, vascular, and cardiac interventions such as angiography, cardiac cath, pacemakers, and IABP insertion
• Hemodynamic monitoring responsibilities using Sensis monitoring equipment
• Siemens imaging equipment used
• EMR: Meditech
• Day shifts with variable start times; shifts are either 8 or 10 hours, 40 hours per week
• Call required 1-2 days per week, approximately every 2-3 weekends, including holidays
• 4-person call team
• Caseload: 2 labs

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab
• Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and IR procedures
• Familiarity with CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine procedures
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and angiography procedures

Additional Information

• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to their assignment start date; this appointment is held at Hilo Employee Health and attendance is mandatory
• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date in order to attend the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning
• 13-week contract
