Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery / OB OR position in Austin, TX, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active fetal monitoring certification.
Details
- Position is based in an OB Operating Room (OB OR) unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent L&D or OB OR experience required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
- Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required, or NCCEFM accepted
- NRP Advanced 9th Edition (American Academy of Pediatrics) required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- At least one professional reference required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- All certifications must be current and valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment start date
