Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Richmond, VA, requiring at least 2 years of clinical experience and an active VA or compact RN license.

Details

  • Endoscopy unit in a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active VA or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in GI/Endoscopy
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • Professional references required: one reference for most states; two references required for Florida and Missouri
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
