Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Charge Nurse - Nights position at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Bangor, ME, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.
Details
- Long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Charge Nurse role responsible for coordinating and directing total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients
- Night shift schedule: 7a–7p
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Maine or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree (2-year college) in Nursing required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Serves as a resource for the unit and provides quality management coordination
- Provides administrative backup support in the absence of the Director of Nursing
- Participates in patient/resident and family teaching
- Works collaboratively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary care team members
- Local candidates are accepted but will receive a lower hourly rate than travel candidates
