Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Oncology Telemetry position at a high-acuity oncology unit requiring telemetry experience and every-other-weekend availability.
Details
- High-acuity 30-bed Surgical Oncology unit serving oncology patients
- Patient care involves chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and post-surgical care
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active FL RN license or compact RN license
- BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Chemo certification preferred
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care to a vulnerable oncology population including pre- and post-surgical patients
- Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
