Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT (R)(MR) certification and 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Virginia.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI unit
- Equipment includes Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Epic EMR is used; all travelers must attend either an accelerated or 2-day Epic class prior to starting (returning travelers who were at the facility within the past 6 months may be exempt from Epic class)
Requirements
- ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
- Active VA or Compact license required; license required if applicable
- PDF copies of driver's license and social security card required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical or religious exemptions considered with supporting documentation
Additional Information
- Scrub color is grey
- Previous employees of this facility must wait one year before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be submitted upfront; no RTO will be approved after an offer is made
- RTO should be kept to a minimum, with no full calendar weeks off preferred; some holiday coverage is expected
- This is a smoke- and nicotine-free facility
- Floating, if required, is done in rotation with facility staff per Joint Commission standards
- Up to 7 hours of non-billable orientation modules are required and completed during the onboarding period
