Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist (CV Tech) with experience in cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-status teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in the Cardiovascular Tech (CV Tech) unit of an acute care hospital with 554 staffed beds
- Level I Trauma center and teaching hospital
- Ideal candidates have experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience; candidates with scrub experience across all service lines (Cardiac, Neuro, etc.) will also be considered
- Charting via Epic
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks
- Floating within the site and across the health system is required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- 13-week minimum contract length; longer contract extensions are possible
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS certifications required
- Oregon OBMI state license required (if applicable)
- Scrub experience in Cath Lab and/or Angio required; scrub experience in other cardiovascular service lines considered
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided for this role
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- All assigned education modules must be completed within one week of starting the assignment
- No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO for the contract
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- COVID vaccination card required with no exemptions accepted
- At least one professional reference and a skills checklist are required for consideration
