Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in New Hampshire, requiring an active NH or Compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with 12-hour night shifts.

Details

  • 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
  • Alaris Pumps are used in this unit
  • Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
  • Floating may occasionally occur to PCU, 4 East, and ED for critical care patients; rare float to med/surg is possible but uncommon
  • Travelers may be requested to float to additional satellite campuses within the hospital system
  • Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate

Requirements

  • Active NH or Compact RN license required — temporary licenses are not accepted
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, with at least 1 year in an inpatient setting
  • A valid driver's license with an address matching provided demographics is required

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Weekly orientation is provided
  • Former permanent staff are eligible to return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
  • 3 professional references are required upon commitment, with at least 2 from a charge nurse or manager (no peers or coworkers)
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront for consideration
  • 13-week contract
