Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR Circulator position in Washington, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with both circulating and scrub responsibilities and rotating call coverage.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
• Responsibilities include both circulating and scrub nursing roles
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotating call coverage required, including participation in 24-hour call

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• OR circulating and/or scrub experience required
• Recovery Room (PACU) nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide circulating and/or scrub nursing care in the operating room, ensuring safe and therapeutically effective patient care
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members throughout the surgical process
• Apply nursing assessment skills, including recognition of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Maintain the OR work area and uphold hospital, Nursing Department, and regulatory standards
• This is a quick-start position
