Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a night shift schedule at a hospital in Peoria, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and an active IL RN license.
Details
- Position is located on a Medical/Respiratory unit (7C) within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required
- May float to other facilities within the Carle Health system
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required; temporary license accepted
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
Additional Information
- Performs patient assessments upon admission and develops individualized plans of care
- Implements nursing interventions and patient care procedures, modifying plans of care based on continuous evaluation
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support the healthcare team
- Contributes to a culture of safety by identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at Carle Health for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any Carle Health location after reaching the 1-year mark
